The ZTE company recently partnered with pre-paid carrier visible which will offer the smartphone in its portfolio. The phone is actually available in US right now.
It was first launched in the US because it has been long ZTE last launched smartphone in the US.

Design and Display
ZTE Blade A7 Prime has a matte cloth-like texture finish paired with a single 16MP F/2.0 camera, LED flash and fingerprint scanner. Another nice design touch is the red-colored power button.
The rear camera is positioned vertically at the top left corner of the phone, there is a speaker grill at the bottom.
It has a dimension of 156.7 x 72.9 x 8.1 mm which makes it easy to hold in the hand. The smartphone is very light, it weighs just 165 grams.
There is a dual nano sim slot as well as a micro SD card slot where you can extend the storage up to 1TB.
The ZTE Blade A7 Prime comes in silver colour.
Flipping things to the front, you are greeted with a 6.09inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive dot notch display with16M colors.
It is an HD+ display which means it has a resolution of 720 by 1560 pixels and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. For the display to pop nice colours, it utilises a 282 pixel per inch (PPI)
The chin is big as well as the bezels and that makes it to have 79.7% screen to body ratio.
Hardware and Software
The ZTE Blade A7 Prime is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 which is under 12 nano metre process. It’s a Quad core processor smartphone which has a speed of 2.0GHz.
It runs on Android 9 pie and for graphics or gaming, you have PowerVR GE8320 GPU paired with a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
There is also a micro SD card slot where you can extend the storage up to 1TB.
With all this specs, you can tell that this is a midrange phone indeed, judging from the specs.
It can surf the web at ease, play 2D games without lags and chat on social media. I don’t think this device can handle Pub G or even asphalt 9.
The phone is mainly created for the budget folks who wants a secondary device or a phone for research, infact, this is a phone you should get if you are a secondary school student.
For gaming, the powerVR GE8320 can play 2D games very well without lag, not that it can’t play 3D games but you have to switch it to lower graphics.
Camera and Battery
The ZTE Blade A7 Prime features a single rear camera which is a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. On the front, it has a 5MP camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls.
The camera features a LED flash, HDR and panorama, it is only the rear camera that shoots video in 1080p at 30 frames per second (fps).
With all this camera features, pictures taken with this device will be good and won’t be the best. But for 33,000 Naira ($99), it is very okay.
In terms of battery, the smartphone has a 3200mAh battery which doesn’t fast charge. It would have been great if it comes with a fast charger.
In terms of connectivity, the ZTE Blade A7 Prime comes with a dual SIM with support for 4G LTE Network for fast browsing and downloads.
Other features on the phone include WiFi, Bluetooth for a wireless connection, FM radio, A-GPS for location tracking and micro USB for file transfer and charging.
