Display difference

The new Spark 5 comes with a 6.6inch display but the older Spark 4 has a 6.52inch display. So you can see that the new Spark 5 brought a bigger display size. However, both of them has the same 720 x 1600 pixels resolution and IPS LCD screen. Spark 5 also uses a punch hole or a dot in display while the Spark 4 has a waterdrop notch display. All in all, the only difference here in terms of display is that the new Spark 5 has a bigger screen size and nothing more.

Camera difference

Coming to the camera, the new Spark 5 comes with a quad rear cameras while the older Spark 4 has triple rear cameras. The quad cameras in the Spark 5 includes a 13MP main, 2MP macro, 2MP depth sensor and a low light lens. Spark 4 on the other hand has 13MP main camera, 2MP depth sensor and a low light lens. Both of them has same 8MP selfie camera.

So in terms of camera, the Spark 5 only added a macro camera and nothing more.

Battery difference

Moving over to the battery department, the new Spark 5 comes with a 5,000mAh battery capacity while the older Spark 4 has a 4,000mah. Both of them doesn’t support fast charging but the new version will last longer because of it’s 5,000mAh battery.

Which one is better?

The best one to get is of course the Spark 5 because of it’s new features. If you are using the Spark 4, should you upgrade? Yes, you can if you have the money. But if you can’t upgrade, don’t worry your self. The main reason to upgrade for many would be because of that 5,000mAh battery.

So that’s it about the Tecno Spark 5 vs Tecno Spark 4, if you anything to say, you can leave them in the comment section below.
