Samsung Galaxy M31 vs Poco X2; which one is better? Well, in this post we are going to find out. The M31 was just launched today being February 25th while the Poco X2 was launched in February 4th this year, 2020. Let’s see if the M31 can beat the Poco X2.

Design comparison

Looking at the design of this two smartphones, we are kind of prefer the design on the Poco X2. It looks more beautiful and attractive than the M31. The back of the Galaxy M31 is made from plastic while the back of the X2 is made from glass.

The glass on the X2 is protected by a Gorilla Glass 5 and it has an aluminium frame, but the M31 has a plastic frame. We should give the design to the Poco X2, the smartphone looks solid and beautiful. The M31 comes with a dual Nano SIM slot while the X2 comes with a hybrid SIM slot.

Display comparison

Coming to the front. The M31 comes with a Super AMOLED panel which measures 6.4inches with a resolution of 1080 by 2340 pixels. It has a ppi density of 411 and a 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The Poco X2 on the other hand comes with an IPS LCD panel which measures 6.67inches with a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels.

It has a ppi density of 386 and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display on the Poco X2 is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 but the M31 display isn’t protected. When it comes to the display, the M31 will present good colors and deep blacks than the Poco X2. However, the X2 will be more durable than the M31.

Hardware & Software comparison

Under the hood, the M31 is powered by an Octa-core Exynos 9611 chipset while the Poco X2 is powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 730G chipset. Both this two devices runs on Android 10 operating system. According to some reports, the SD730G chipset is faster than the Exynos 9611.

So what that means is that the X2 will be more faster than the M31. The X2 has an Adreno 618 GPU while the M31 comes with a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. Adreno 618 will be more efficient than the Mali-G72 MP3.

Camera comparison

This two phones comes with a quad rear cameras. The cameras on the M31 is a 64MP main + 8MP ultra wide + 5MP macro + 5MP depth sensor. Poco X2 comes with a 64MP main + 8MP ultra wide + 2MP macro + 2MP depth sensor.

On the front, the M31 comes with a 32MP camera while the X2 comes with a 20MP + 2MP cameras. In terms of camera, this two devices will perform the same. They will take good quality looking pictures.
