The Samsung Galaxy M21 is a midrange smartphone that has been on the rumour mill for some weeks now but later, Samsung decided to unveil the smartphone on March 16th. As we are looking up to the device on the said date, Samsung unfortunately postponed it to March 18th without any reason.

Maybe it is because of the Corona-virus thing. So finally, the smartphone has been unveiled today. It is a midrange smartphone that promises to carter for the battery drainers because it has a huge 6,000mAh battery. The device is the successor of last year’s M20.

Some of it’s key selling points includes a 6000mAh battery with 15W fast charging, 48-mega pixels triple rear cameras and a 20-mega pixels front camera for selfies or video calls. Specs wise, it comes with a 6.4inches Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 by 2340 pixels.

The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and it has a 420nits of maximum brightness. Under the hood, it is powered by an Exynos 9611 chipset which uses an Octa core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It runs on Android 10 with One UI 2 on top and for graphics or gaming, there is a Mali-G72 MP3 taking in charge.

There are two storage configurations for the device which are a 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM or a 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. It has a memory card slot where you can extend the storage even further. In terms of camera, there is a triple rear cameras which includes a 48MP f/2.0 main camera, 8MP f/2.2 ultra wide camera and a 5MP f/2.2 depth sensor.

On the front, it has a 20MP f/2.0 selfie camera. For security, it makes use of a rear mounted fingerprint reader. It is available in two colours which are Midnight Blue and Raven Black. What is constantly supplying energy to the device is a 6,000mAh battery which supports 15W fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy M21 price in India is Rs 12,999 which converts to $175 USD(N64,000) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM variant, the price of the 6GB RAM variant wasn’t revealed by the company. Amazon India will be carrying out the first sale of the phone on March 23. It will also be available on Samsung’s online store and offline stores later in India.
