After the successful launch of the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max, Xiaomi Malaysia has taken to their twitter official page to announce the launch date of another variant dubbed the Redmi Note 9s. According to the teaser image, the smartphone will be launched in March 23rd which is next week Monday.
The image revealed that the device will be coming with a quad rear cameras, similar to it’s elder brothers. Another image posted on their Facebook page revealed the front view of the device which also tells us that the Redmi Note 9s will be coming with a punch hole cut-out at the centre of the display.
None of it’s specifications was unveiled but we know it will be inferior to the Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max. We are expecting to see a smaller display size, maybe a 6.4inches Full HD+ display. MediaTek Helio chipset and a 4GB or 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB internal storage.
In terms of battery capacity, we are looking up to the same 5,020mAh battery with 18W fast charging similar to the Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max. The already launched Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max has gone on sale today on Mi.com, Amazon India and Mi stores across India.
The price for the Note 9 Pro starts from $178 USD which is about N64,000 Naira and the Note 9 Pro Max starts from $201 which is about N73,000 Naira.
