Oppo mobile has launched a new smartphone in India today which is the Oppo F15. This phone seems to be the exact phone launched in China as Oppo A91 but with a different moniker. The smartphone has a very beautiful rear design with that gradient colour finish. It is made of a polycarbornate material and coming to the front side, it utilises an under display fingerprint scanner and the phone also supports fast charging.
Indians welcomed the smartphone with a price tag of Rs. 19,990 which translates to $282 or N100,000 if you are in Nigeria. The smartphone is going to be available soon in Nigeria as they said that Nigeria is their focused market when it comes to Africa during the Oppo Reno2 and Reno2 F launch. With this, we expect to see the Oppo F15 in Nigeria this month or early next month.
Going to the specs, on the front, it has a 6.4-inch display. It’s a Full HD+ display which means it has a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels. The device has a PPI of 408 and 20:9 aspect ratio. It’s an Amoled panel screen with 85.5% screen to body ratio, the display is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 Chip which has an Octa core processor clocked at 2.1GHz. It runs on Android 9 pie with ColorOS 6.1 out of the box and Mali-G72 MP3 for graphics or gaming. The processor is also paired with an 8gb of RAM and 128gb of internal storage.
In terms of camera, this device spot a quad rear cameras which are the 48mp camera with f/1.8 aperture accompanied by a led flash, 8mp ultra-wide lens with f/2.3 aperture, 2mp B/W sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 2mp depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it has 16mp selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture, both the front and back camera records video in 1080p at 30fps. What is keeping the light on is a 4,025mAh Li-Po battery which supports fast charging upto 20W.
According to Oppo, the VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 can take this guy from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes. Two colours are available to pick which are Lightening Black and Unicorn white.
