Infinix mobility recently announced the Hot 9 and the S5 Pro, now they are gearing up to announce a new device in the Note line-up dubbed Infinix Note 7. As with Infinix’s tradition, the lite version of the Note 7 will also be launched.
Without being announced, Infinix has gone to their official website to post the smartphone alongside the full specifications. From there, we were able to know that it will come with a big display size of 6.95inches but with a lower resolution of 720 by 1640 pixels.
The lite version comes with a 6.6inches display with a resolution of 720 by 1600 pixels. Both of them uses a punch hole display with an IPS LCD technology. The Not 7 also comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front but the lite version doesn’t come with that.
At the rear, the Note 7 makes use of a circular camera module housing four sensors while the Lite version makes use of the vertical rectangular module. The Lite version resembles the recently announced Hot 9 while the standard Note 7 kind of like borrowed it’s design from the Redmi Note 8 Pro.
The back cameras of the Note 7 includes a 48MP main camera with f/1.79 aperture, 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a QVGA low light lens with f/1.8 aperture. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The rear camera has a quad led flash and it also supports super steady video shooting. Note 7 Lite on the other hand comes with this same quad rear cameras but the front camera has been stepped down to 8-mega pixels. Both of them can shoot videos in 1080p at 30fps.
Under the hood, the Note 7 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G70 chipset which uses an Octa core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. It is running on Android 10 with XOS 6.0 Dolphin user interface. For graphics or gaming, there is a Mali G52 GPU responsible for it. The smartphone is available in 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM.
The lite version is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset which uses an Octa core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. It still runs on Android 10 with XOS 6.0 Dolphin. There is a PowerVR GE8320 GPU and 4GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. They are the first Infinix smartphone to make use of a side mounted fingerprint scanner.
They also features dual stereo speakers with BTS sounds. Both of them draws power from a 5,000mAh battery but the Note 7 supports 18W fast charging while the Lite version uses a 2A charger. Infinix says it can take the Note 7 Lite 3hours to fully charge but once that is done, be ready to enjoy 4days battery life.
Infinix is yet to reveal the launch date and price. However, we expect the Note 7 to be priced at 60,000 Naira ($167) while the Note 7 Lite 50,000 Naira ($139).
