It seems Nokia is trying to break the year with an entry level device speculated as the Nokia 1.3. We expect Nokia to unveil a new smartphone at Mobile World Congress which is coming up next month but the smartphone that they are going to launch has been leaked. This device was certified with a model number TA-1207 and a lot people are saying that it’s going to be the Nokia 1.3.
We ourselves think that speculations are right because if you look carefully, there is no other entry level device from Nokia that is due for a successor except the Nokia 1. The Nokia 3 series isn’t due for a successor yet, and even if it is, it will not get a smaller display since the Nokia 3.2 has a 6.26-inch screen. FCC are the people who actually certified the device and ofcourse, we got a glimpse look at it’s key specs.
According to the FCC certification document, the smartphone has a dimension of 146.56 x 70.46 millimeters. Devices with this dimensions usually has a 5.7inch display or a 5.8inch display. So that means the Nokia 1.3 is going to come with a 5.7 or a 5.8inch display. They also revealed the battery capacity of this phone, FCC listed 2920mAh as it’s battery capacity.
But it is rated 3,000mAh. If you look at the specificications of it’s predecessor, you can see that this new Nokia 1.3 has brought a bigger battery and screen. Nokia is also going to improve the camera aspect of the phone as well. Android 10 was launched last year and yea, the Nokia 1.3 is going to come with Android 10 (Go Edition) out of the box.
No official launch date was revealed but since we already knew that Nokia is going to unveil it’s latest smartphone at Mobile World Congress, that means that the Nokia 1.3 release date is going to be next month at Mobile World Congress, we expect the Nokia 1.3 price to be around $130. More leaks of the phone coming, maybe the one that will showcase it’s camera aspect.
