So Infinix has decided to add a new battery centric device to the Hot 9 family. The smartphone comes with a 6,000mAh battery capacity, making it the first Infinix device to come with such battery size. The device is dubbed Hot 9 Play and how does it really differ from the Hot 9?
Well as mentioned above, this Hot 9 Play device comes with a 6,000mAh battery unlike the standard Hot 9 which comes with a 5,000mAh battery, but sadly, the device doesn’t come with a fast charger, it just supports 10W standard charging speed. Coming to the display, it has been bumped to a huge 6.82inches but maintains the resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels.
This is a huge jump over the Hot 9 which has a 6.6inch display size. Under the hood, nothing has changed, it still comes with a MediaTek Helio A25 chipset and runs on Android 10 with XOS 6.0 Dolphin user interface. The device is available in 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM. For photography, it has been cut down to a dual rear cameras of 13MP main camera and a QVGA low light lens.
On the front, it still maintains the 8MP selfie camera. As for pricing, we expect it to be priced at 37,000 Naira which is about $111 and Rs. 8,400. The smartphone just got listed on Infinix’s official website and no one knows the launch date but listing it on it’s official website hints an imminent launch.
