From this, you can see that the display of the S5 Pro will be more shaper and vibrant than the Note 7. But you might still need to consider the Note 7 because of it’s bigger 6.95inch display and a Corning Gorilla Glass on the front. So you get a bigger screen and a stronger display on the Note 7 while the S5 Pro has a more sharper and vibrant looking display.

In terms of hardware, the Note 7 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G70 chipset while the S5 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. According to MediaTek, the Helio G70 chipset in the Note 7 is 2x faster than the Helio P35 chipset in the S5 Pro. So if you want a smartphone that is fast and lags free, get the Note 7.

Coming to camera, they both has a 48-mega pixels camera as their main lens. The S5 Pro has a 2MP depth sensor and a QVGA lowlight sensor, while the Note 7 has a 2MP depth sensor, 2MP macro camera and a 2MP dedicated video camera. The Infinix S5 Pro will out perform the Note 7 in terms of selfies but when it comes to the rear cameras, the Note 7 will do better because of it’s image signal processing power from the Helio G70 chipset. So if you like taking high quality selfies, the S5 Pro is for you. But if you are a moderate camera user, the Note 7 will satisfy you.

As for battery, the Note 7 will last longer than the S5 Pro and it will even charge faster than the S5 Pro. The fingerprint sensor of the Note 7 is located at the side while that of the S5 Pro is located at the rear.

Side mounted fingerprint sensor of Note 7

I will always prefer the side mounted fingerprint scanner over the rear mounted fingerprint scanner because you will get access to it quickly especially when it is on a flat surface. If it is rear mounted, you will always need to raise your phone to unlock.
