The wifi authentication errors is what occurs on smartphones when trying to connect to the wifi network. Though it rarely happens. In this guide you are going to learn how to put an end to this. So without wasting much of your time, let’s dive in.
Turn on airplane mode
Sometimes when Bluetooth or data is turned on, it will lead to wifi showing authentication error as it might be interfering with the radio signals across your device. In order to stop this, you will need to turn on the airplane plane mode so as to discontinue the radio signals on your phone. When your airplane mode is still active, try to connect to wifi again, search for available wifi networks and input the correct password and hit connect, when it connects successfully you can now turn the airplane mode off which will recover or restore all radio signals back to your device.
Cross check password
I know you have heard about this so many times but it might be the cause. Cross check your password and make sure it’s typed correctly, put the big or small letter alphabet where they are supposed to be, wifi password are case sensitive so you check for that also.
Reset wifi connection
You can try resetting the wifi connection and connect it again afresh. To do this you have to visit settings menu on your device, click on wifi, click on wifi network and select forget. This will disconnect you from the wifi network. Now turn off your wifi network and turn it on again, search for available wifi networks and select, put all details and password correctly and reconnect.
Reset all network settings
If after trying all this and your wifi still doesn’t connect try resetting all network settings, it won’t erase your data or files but will only erase network settings on your device. If it still doesn’t connect then the issue might be from the wifi network you are trying to connect with.Try choosing another wifi network.
