Many of you are wondering which is the best online store in Nigeria to buy your next mobile phone. It needs to be safe, to have a good price and a good selection, so we prepared a list with top online stores in Nigeria to choose from! We are going to keep this page updated and list special discounts when available.
Jumia is the biggest online marketplace in Africa for electronics (with over 5,000 employees). It has a great phone selection and most of the time they have the best prices, but from time to time they are raising their prices in order to offer further discounts. We advise you to check the phone you want to buy on our site first and compare its price with all the other stores before deciding to press the buy button!
The company is also a logistics service, which enables the shipment and delivery of packages from sellers to consumers and a payment service, which facilitates transactions among participants active and Jumia’s platform in selected markets. It has partnered with more than 50,000 local African companies and individuals. Jumia was launched in Lagos in 2012 and expanded to five other countries : Egypt, Morocco, Ivory Coast, Kenya and South Africa. In 2014, the company launched offices in Tunisia, Tanzania , Ghana , Cameroon , Algeria and Uganda and by 2018 it was present in 14 African countries.
Konga is a Nigerian e-commerce company founded in July 2012 with headquarters in Lagos and over 1,000 employees. It offers a third-party online marketplace, as well as first-party direct retail spanning various categories including consumer electronics, home appliances, books, computers & accessories, phones and tablets. The company also has logistics service (KXPRESS), which enables the timely shipment and delivery of packages to customers.
They don’t have the same variety of products as Jumia, but they offer fair prices and from time to time nice discounts. If the product would be on the same price, I would recommend alternating the sites in order to avoid a monopoly being established – currently Jumia is by far the biggest player in the game.

Their phone offer is somewhat more limited and sometimes the prices are bigger than the other online store, but they also have good offers from time to time – so it worth checking.
Jiji.ng is a Nigerian online marketplace (founded in 2014 in Lagos) that provides buyers and sellers the possibility to meet and exchange goods and services.
We really recommend Jiji since you are going to find great prices on used phones – but try to follow our guide on what to check when buying used phones. You’ll also find some of the best prices for new phones, but please pay attention, even phones tagged as ‘brand new’ are sometimes already open and even used for some days or weeks, so try to negotiate the price and check the phone!
