LG has made out plan to dish out the latest Android 10 update to nine of his smartphones. This Android 10 roadmap for LG devices was coming from LG Italy. According to them, nine LG devices will be getting the latest Android 10 update. The smartphones includes LG V50, G8X, G8S, V40, G7, K50S, K40S, Q60 and K50.
The LG V50 ThinQ will get Android 10 update in February 2020. Moving on, LG G8X will get the update in Q2 of 2020. Furthermore, the LG G7, LG G8S and LG V40 will get Android 10 update in the Q3 of 2020. Lastly, the company has revealed that LG K50s, LG K50 and LG Q60 will get the latest operating system by Q4 of 2020.
What features this nine LG devices will be getting from Android 10 includes dark mode along with Live Caption, which will automatically caption videos, podcasts and audio messages across any app with a single tap. Other small features in the update include support for direct audio streaming to hearing aid devices, gender-inclusive emoji, and new enterprise features.
It is really nice seeing LG pushing the latest operating system to their smartphones. They recently launched a new iPad in October last year at a price of 340 EUR which converts to N135,000 in Nigeria or $374 USD. The company named the iPad “G Pad 5”.
The LG G Pad 5 features a 10.1inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. It has an IPS LCD screen with 224 PPI density. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset which has an Octa core processor clocked at 2.1GHz. It runs on Android 9 pie and it has an Adreno 530 GPU.
Coupled with a 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It has a single rear camera which is an 8MP camera and a selfie camera of 5MP. There is 8200mAh battery which supports fast charging. The G Pad 5 might get it’s own Android 10 update at the ending of the year.
